Outreach Saturday - October 22, 2016

Your help is needed to make our Outreach Saturday a success. Please donate any supplies to our ministry before October 2, 2016.

Outreach Saturday is scheduled for October 22, 2016. Personal care items will be distributed on each outreach date, along with sack lunches for anyone who needs them.

Also there will be specific items and services provided for particular target groups. The particulars regarding what donations will be needed for specific dates will be sent out via e-mail, announced in service, and listed on sigh-up sheets in the narthex.

We also need donations of new children's clothing, particularly, underwear. These items were requested by an elementary school that service massive numbers of children that are homeless and in-need. Wesley Chapel is partnering with this elementary school which currently has students from five (5) of the surrounding extended-stay establishments. These items will be delivered to the school as we collect them.

Hope for the Holidays

We would like to bless families with meal assistance this Thanksgiving and we are asking for your help. We are accepting donations between October 30 – November 10, 2016 of the following items:

Canned Green Beans

Canned Yams

Cream of Mushroom Soup

Cream of Chicken Soup

Boxed Stuffing

Rice

Canned Cranberry Sauce

Instant Potatoes

Chicken Broth

To give a monetary contribution, please include your donation in your offering envelope and indicate “Missions/Outreach” on the “Other” line. We will distribute the items to registered families on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 9 AM to 11 AM.

If you are in need of meal assistance for this Thanksgiving Holidays, please register by calling the church office at 404.289.3616 before November 10, 2016. If you leave have to leave a message, please speak clearly, leave your name and phone number twice, to make sure we have the correct information.
